Sapience has announced that Bullroarer is now open with the Volume 3, Book 1 – Patch 1 scheduled to go live soon.

I’ll go ahead and post the release notes here as well.  Most of these are “fixes” however, there are some interesting things to note as well regarding the Inn League and some of the upcoming Summer Festival as well!  I’m not sure if the Summer Festival is live on the server or not, but you can bet we’ll find out soon!

I posted yesterday about the new Fraps release and while I had tested it out a little bit, I hadn’t actually tried creating a video for upload onto YouTube.  I decided that as I was working on my Rune-keeper I would take a video of the scenery on the way from Saeradan’s Cabin to Candaith at the foot of Weathertop.  This was my first time on that new horse route so I was curious how it would take the player, but I figured there would be some good sight-seeing along the way.  I captured the entire trip on Ultra-high visual quality (DIrectX 9 though) so things do look pretty spectacular, see for yourself below:

Raskolnikov added a post to the forums yesterday asking the community to help him design a new type of Fell-spirit monster for the game. They are to have a combination of fear and frost abilities and will have both a melee and ranged version. There are of course rules as to what they can an can’t do:

  • Skills / Abilities should be interactive, thematic, or both.
  • Must be solo-able by any class. Also, must be a Normal mob (not Signature or Elite).
  • No new animations or FX.
  • Keep the skills / abilities simple, but obvious.
