After a brief hiatus from posting — due to the demands of the dreaded “REAL LIFE” — I am back with another installment of “Did You Know”! Don’t worry, you can be well assured that I was appropriately pummelled with wet noodles for my prolonged absense, and it won’t happen again!
So….. “did you know” that when you are buying items from a vendor, there are different options for choosing the amount that you buy? What I mean is, with a simple press of a button, you can indicate the quantity you’d like:
- Press Shift if you would like to buy a stack (usually 100)

One of the things that I personally glossed over some are the changes coming up to Crafting in the upcoming release of Free-to-Play; which is ironic since I have a ton of crafters. For those of you who may or may not remember, Jewelers and Cooks had quite a few changes with the release of Volume 3, Book 1. With Volume 3.2 Weaponsmiths and Woodworkers are having some revisions which “…introduces an arsenal of new crafted weapons…” that target not only their stats but their damage types as well. However, it’s important to note that no existing crafted weapons will be changed.
Also, many existing Weaponsmith and Woodworker recipes will now be multi-output (meaning they can create different versions of the same item as can be seen in a previous post) as well, allowing players to better adjust the weapons to have stats that would be more relevant to their playing style. I’m vastly in favor of multi-output recipes and I am very much looking forward to these options. Mostly because it’s fairly frustrating to want to create a weapon for a character and the type that I want is meant for a different playing style.

As I start to plan things out a bit, I was curious what others were thinking of doing with their Turbine points when the system launches. So I’m tossing out a quick poll for people, and if you have some other thoughts feel free to share them in the comments. I’ll be sharing my roadmap here shortly.

As I quoted yesterday, Sapience indicated that some of the items in the store have been tweaked. Now granted, I will admit I may be a build or two behind on some of these but I did want to talk about a couple of them as there was a new patch up today. However, nothing earth shattering on the patch with only a few notes in total.
First up, I’m happy that they did add in a helm to the Annuminas Heavy Armor set. I’m not super excited about the look, but it is nice to have another option including the cloak to get the full 6/6 bonus which this set really needs to be comparable. I’ve updated my spreadsheet but am really struggling with Google Docs so I’ll probably wait until launch and post a final version. But certainly take a look below for the stats and looks of it.

Following my advertisement in the Bree-land Times, an amazingly well done in-game monthly newspaper player made, I was contacted by The Fellowship to decorate their lovely kinhall in the Shire. They wanted something cheerful colourful that was Hobbit appropriate.
I went for bright yellow with red accents and wooden furniture in the main living area. The green floors allowed me to complete my colourful pallet.
The breakfast corner.

1 Tequila, 2 Tequila, 3 Tequila, Floor!
There’s a lot of tanking classes in LOTRO, or at least melee and taunting classes. They can be lumped into three categories: the main tank, the off tank, and the bad tank. We can dress them up all we like, but that’s what it comes down to in most gaming situations. Considering all the possible combinations we are always left with one question; which class is the easiest to heal while in a group? Obviously the heavy tanks are the easiest to keep track of, as long as they do their jobs properly ; ). No offense players, but I get pretty upset when someone other than the tank pulls aggro right away. It’s not your fault and we all know it, but its aggravating nonetheless.
One thing I will say is that for sustainability, Wardens can go all night. For example, one gambit you simply MUST be aware of is The Dark Before Dawn, your happy warden will need to be below 50% morale in order to regenerate their power pool. It doesn’t have a recharge, but it IS a 5-part gambit, so you might want to give them a little time below half morale until you notice their power pop up a notch or two. Just be sure to let the warden know that you’ll happily cooperate with them to make the fight go faster and less stressful for all parties involved. They’re considered to be a main tank and I don’t have much experience with them. But this was one of the gambits I was aware of, so if you have other tips for healing Wardens, please let me know!
