After all the anticipation of the patch notes coming down JUST before a server hiccup at Turbine brought down the website, the actual patch notes for Bullroarer are quite tame.
I think the biggest thing in there (other then sound to the /toast emote) is the change to the Lockboxes:

Orion’s starting to open up a bit more as he gives us some pretty hard details about what’s coming for the Warden class with Update 6. While these are posted on his my.LOTRO blog, they’re still subject to change based on feedback. Also, keep in mind this post is titled “Blog #1” so there will be more coming.
First up, he describes how Battle Preparations will work which sounds pretty slick. Essentially, using the skill will turn builders and masteries no longer require a target and as such can be used outside of combat. This will allow you to build and store a gambit pre-fight for up to 30 seconds. I’m a little curious to see if there will be a cool-down for this skill.

Last night, Orion posted a few teasers on what he has up his sleeve for the upcoming Warden changes planned (hopefully) for Update 6.
Orion didn’t give too many details, but laid out some ideas that sound interesting but I will admit it doesn’t sound like the class is getting any simpler. Keep in mind though that these ideas are still subject to change, but here’s what he’s thinking so far.

Even though I’m not playing Rift currently, I did notice something pretty darn cool from their press releases. They announced a beta version of an iOS app that allows you to interact with the game while you can’t get in the game. This is something I’ve always looked for from other games and they seemed to have hit on a couple of the main areas I’d want:

Today not only did Turbine announce the date for the Armies of Isengard or Prince of Rohan, if you prefer the story title, update, but also some new screenshots as well. All along this was the week I was thinking (although I was expecting the 13th) but lately I’ve begun to seriously wonder about that date. I will be curious to see if we get any updates to Bullroarer or if we’re going straight to Live. If we don’t go to Bullroarer, I’m sad to admit I expect to run into a fair share of issues like we did with the Isengard Launch.

It appears that Turbine has gotten all it wants out of the testing for Update 5, as Bullroarer will be closing tomorrow at noon eastern!
That’s right all of you wanting to get actual numbers for seal and medallion drop rates and how long it will take to potentially get the new armor sets, you better act fast.
And for those of you wanting to see how the new Warden tweaks work, you’ve got less then 24 hours TOTAL to get it done!

The second build to Bullroarer is now live for the upcoming Update 5: Armies of Isengard content coming in December. Lots of bug fixes and response to the community in here, and it appears like this update is paralleling Update 3 (In their Absence) which would mean another possible Bullroarer update before this content finally hits live. So, make sure to get on Bullroarer (if you can) test stuff out, bug it, be vocal (but constructive) on the forums, etc. There also appear to be changes to the barter and armor set requirements, but I haven’t checked them out yet to be totally sure. Nor am I 100% convinced they’re final, yet .
