International Talk Like A Pirate Day be Monday, September 19th! This be a special day that Turbine likes to have fun with as well including the in-game event Tale of the Shipwrecked Mariner.

On Saturday October 9th, A Casual Stroll to Mordor will be hosting an online party celebrating the Fellowship’s Walk. Our goal is to encourage people to donate so that the Fellowship can move out of Bree, which is the $2,000 donation marker. Join the fun on Landroval, by the Pierson’s Farm in Bree-Land, at 9 p.m. EST this Saturday, and get us out of Bree!

Join us on Landroval and on a special live broadcast as we talk to Galenswerd (AKA John) of The Lonely Mountain Band . We will be chatting with John during his in game Album Release party! We could not think of a better way to celebrate Bilbo and Frodo’s birthday (September 22nd)!
The Lonely Mountain Band is a musical project inspired by Tolkien’s works. We last talked to John on the show last November in Episode 12 and we are excited to talk to him about the new album “Beyond the Western Seas”.

Spring has arrived and 2010 has some new events in store for the Spring Festival. This guide is here to help you discover all the fun to be had and help you earn those seasonal goodies!
The main bartering item for this event are called Spring Leaf. The quests to earn these tokens are repeatable so you can in fact earn enough tokens to get all the goodies the festival offers (granted you have enough time).
There is a deed called “Spring is Dandy” for most of these quests and completing them all will grant you the title of “Spring Dandy”.
