This is definitely my favorite horse. It first caught my eye in a news post several months ago. At that time the mount was bugged, and using the same skin as another mount in game. While that mount was pretty awesome as well, the new artwork for it made me decide it was just the mount I wanted.
It wasn't too hard to work up the rep for it, once I levelled a character up high enough. It didn't help any that I quit playing for a while, and couldn't afford a subscription during some of the...

As I mentioned in the comments, I did pre-order the Legendary Edition as for me the extra bit for cosmetic outfits and horses account wide was worth the extra money.
Each horse shows up as an item, just right-click and it pops into your skills but one will get automatically added so don’t panic when you only have 2 in your inventory. Each cloak is there as well as a gift box for the outfits. Each box expands to the 5 items inside, so make sure you have bag space before opening!

We now have a date and price for our next expansion – Sept 27th, 2011 which is actually quite a bit earlier then I had expected with price options starting at $29.99 all the way up to $49.99. Most of the details of the expansion are known but the pricing options are interesting.

Thanks to @KurganNazzir for checking out the new Treasure Hunt on Bullroarer as there are some pretty cool rewards. Some of the standard random festival gift box items for sure, but a couple snazzy horses:
Not only does this horse look cool, but it actually has an animation of it dropping coins! There’s also a video included on the post for those wishing to see it in action. And for those goat addicts out there, a similar style goat is available too. Time will tell if the Treasure horse is this year’s Painted Skeleton Horse.

Massively got a chance to sit down with Adam Mersky and Aaron Campbell to chat about the next couple of updates coming to Middle-Earth. Check out the full article, but I did want to cherry pick a few items:
- Update 3
- 2 Skirmishes in Dol Dinen (Levels 30-65) and Forochel (levels 40-65) both with jewelry and armor rewards
- 2 Instances Inn of the Forsaken (levels 20-65) and Halls of Night (levels 40-65) with new armor, weapons, a pocket item, and cosmetic items.

In case you haven’t been checking up on the forums, I just wanted to comment on the posts from Sapience on the Anniversary tokens. It appears that they’re quite content with how this works but have and are adding in various lotteries for the horse anniversary tokens, in addition to the gift box tokens. If you’re not sure about which tokens drop from where, Sapience clarified that as well.

Today kicked off the anniversary celebration events running until May 2nd, head over to TGN-Stratics for the details but the big items for me:
- The bar fight is back! Who doesn’t like smacking their friends around with big clubs
- Token turn-ins are back as mob drops
- always interesting items from them
- And there’s a new mount which I’ll admit I’m not totally sold on, but I will still be getting it. Shouldn’t be too bad, just some mob grinding and running the races a couple of times.
- I’m not completely sure we’ve seen everything they have in mind but we shall see. Worst case, we know there’s the upcoming patch.
