Original My LotRO Configuration I have finally reached the point where my lottery winners have become too much for My LotRO to handle. Granted, it took me a lot longer to get so many winning entries than some people who are lottery hogs, but I got there nonetheless. Eventually, you probably will, too. Once you get lots of entries, your winning entries window on My LotRO gets all scrambled and its hard to tell which ones are recent, or if there even are any new ones. They start to get sorted...

The LOTRO-Europe folks are celebrating “Bullroarer Took Day” with a screenshot contest. Two winners will be selected (there are two categories) and will be added to the Bullroarer Took Day Screenshot Gallery.

For full details on the screenshot categories, the rules and even some tips on taking screenshots, visit the Codemaster’s page. Seems like a fun little thing to do with a group of buddies. Especially the “Most dangerous party location” category!

Nidget I’ve been reading Nidget’s blog for probably over a week now and I’m positively addicted. Nidget has a real talent taking what he did in game and turning it into a funny and completely entertaining story. He can take a quest that we’ve all done (and may have skipped the quest text) and works magic on it.

His posts are completely in role-play and written in journal style as if just recording what he did that day. He doesn’t claim to a brave adventurer looking to save the day but just a Lore-master looking to study his scrolls and make a some coin. It’s really brilliant.

MMO Calendar Released

First off the MMO Calendar for 2010 has been released as of October 21st and will be on sale until November 2nd.  It features various different MMO’s including Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online.  The purchase of a calendar is $12.95 which is pretty good if you ask me.  Especially since all the proceeds will be going to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Everyone who orders will also be entered to win 1 of 10 prizes for each game featured in the calendar:

Part of the upcoming revamp of Lone Lands will be a reworking of Garth Agarwen. The information provide is from several blog posts made by Orion on his mylotro blog. It was very interesting to read the thought process that he had as he worked through the changes and the work required to remake this instance.

The first, and I think most major, change that will occur with this instance is that it will be split into 4 separate instance: Garth Agarwen – Outer Sanctum, Garth Agarwen – Arboretum, Garth Agarwen – Barrows, Garth Agarwen – Fortress. Outer Sanctum, Arboretum and Barrows will be 3 man instances, while Fortress will remain a full 6 man fellowship instance.
