After all the anticipation of the patch notes coming down JUST before a server hiccup at Turbine brought down the website, the actual patch notes for Bullroarer are quite tame.

While we’re all waiting for the servers to come back up, you can browse through not only the Patch Notes but also the Known Issues posted today.
The patch notes are pretty extensive with all sorts of things hanging especially for many classes. I highly suggest taking a read for your class of interest to see what’s new as there’s a ton for both the Freep side as well as creep side. A few that jumped out for me:

The second build to Bullroarer is now live for the upcoming Update 5: Armies of Isengard content coming in December. Lots of bug fixes and response to the community in here, and it appears like this update is paralleling Update 3 (In their Absence) which would mean another possible Bullroarer update before this content finally hits live. So, make sure to get on Bullroarer (if you can) test stuff out, bug it, be vocal (but constructive) on the forums, etc. There also appear to be changes to the barter and armor set requirements, but I haven’t checked them out yet to be totally sure. Nor am I 100% convinced they’re final, yet

I’m sure many have already found these but I at least wanted to toss in a few comments as I go through them. I will be going through the armor sets and the Warden class here in the next day or so. And remember, these are just the first set of notes so get on Bullroarer, test, and submit those bugs!

The downtime that finished earlier this morning did roll out a fix for the Inn of the Forsaken instance, however another issue popped up causing further problems. According to Celestrata on the forums there’s still an issue that is forcing them to keep tier 2 off-limits for players. Tier 1 works fine, but tier 2 is still broken.
I was also happy to notice they didn’t change the loot drops in there, although I know some are upset by the lack of Campaign Marks dropping from there but I seem to only rarely get unlucky.

The big one of the posted list is the Inn of the Foresaken is broken and has been disabled. This has been a rough time for Turbine lately with instances, so hopefully they can squash this quality control issue they’re having and get these all resolved.
It is a pretty decent list, so make sure to check them out in case you run into any of them. I don’t think all these were things broken with this patch but yet a compilation of known issues.

<Update – Maintenance has been extended to Noon Eastern>
This Monday from 6AM until 11AM Eastern (-4 GMT) all game servers will be down for the previously mentioned patch to the game.

It appears that Patch 1 has been released to the Bullroarer server. Included in these are mostly bug fixes, but that definitely does not make it any less important. I know I personally wanted to go into the Rift skirmish so that I could get some cosmetic items for my characters; so I’m glad that it is now re-opened. Also included are some much needed fixes such as to the time display on the minimap, the tooltip for the Isengard pre-order experience item, and the cooldown timer for Hope tokens.
It’s also important to note that the initial notes will only be provided in English. The finalized form will be released in English, German, and French.
