A member of the Eldar kinship Pata Negra, Ethelrod (Jorge) passed away suddenly and came as a shock for his friends. Jorge was only 37 years old. We were very sad to hear this news and wish Jorge’s family in real life as well has his friends in his kinship our condolences.
To celebrate Jorge and all the joy he brought to his kin, Pata Negra organized a memoriam walk through the Ettenmoors on July 31, 2011.

It is almost August once again and that means that our little blog and podcast, A Casual Stroll to Mordor is turning two-years old!

Exiles of the Riddermark is a series of heavy RP events on the Landroval server leading up to the LOTRO expansion, The Rise of Isengard. The purpose is to provide a framework for players to develop their own personal or kin-wide RP stories while participating in a larger story arc that is directly connected to the story that is unfolding with the expansion.
The final phase of these events is a "Ride to Ruin" where the assembled host will ride across Enedwaith to the Gap of Rohan.

Tomorrow at 4pm Eastern (-4 GMT) starts the epic in-game music festival, Weatherstock!
Weatherstock is an in game music festival hosted on the Landroval server featuring bands from all sorts of LOTRO servers to come and perform in a massive concert set on top of Weathertop in the Lone-lands.
We’ve been gearing up and excited for this event since Harperella of the Lonely Mountain Band on Landroval announced it!

This episode we talk about the new Lotteries, store specials and the new horse contest.
Goldenstar is still busy with the Yule Festival working on getting more of the pretty outfits. She is also is having issues getting the Feast-Beast title and complains a bit. Her Runekeeper finally finished that epic book quest in the troll caves.
