This lovely handmade rug was donated to us by Suzie Owen in support of the Fellowship’s Walk! It is is made out of t-shirts and really reminds us of something you would find in a typical Hobbit home!
We are offering this item up as a prize to the supporters of the Fellowship Walk and special thanks to Suzie for her donation! To get a relative idea of the size see the picture of Baby Hobbit on the rug below (Baby Hobbit is 1-1/2 years old).

What a nice party we had yesterday! Over a hundred people joined the festivities and had the chance to listen to The Lonely Mountain Band, the Green Hill Music Society, the Hobbiton Philarmonic and Galenswerd Swordsong, all performing for the benefit of the children of Middle-Earth. Moreover, we got out of Bree! We’re now pleased to present you the winners of the party giveaways:

April 24th marks the 3rd anniversary of Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) and the game is celebrating!
Here’s what’s we know so far. Everyone who logs in between April 21st and June 30th will receive a Writ of Virtue. This writ when used grants a passive skill giving you a 20% discount with the Bards of Middle-earth! Make sure you have at least one bag space slot open so you can get it!

Codemasters announced today an out-of-game contest to find flowers scattered across different LOTRO Fansites (we don’t have any in case you were looking). Hints on where to look for them will be provided on the LOTRO Europe community website.

Added to the LOTRO Lotteries today are new Class Lotteries. Possible winnings include consumables, armor, weapons and even Second Age items! Drawing will be held on Friday at 5pm EST.
I went to my.lotro.com and entered Goldenstar in the Minstrel Lottery that includes a chance to win a Minstrel’s Songbook of the Second Age! My burglar has Burglar Tools of the Second Age, Runekeeper a Stone of the Second Age and the Captain has a Halberd of the Second Age up for grabs.
