When we first published the instance join list from part five of the instance dev diary we quickly had a comment from Chuck Steel saying it would be a great reference with a bit more information. I thought the idea of a printable reference sheet was a wonderful idea as I mentioned in Episode 51 and I started working on building it.

I quickly realized with my lack of much raiding experience that this effort was a bit over my head so I called in our raid specialist, Elb, to help me! With Elb’s excellent input we’re pleased to present you with a PDF reference sheet that you can easily print and post near your game station for reference!

jewlery Our good friend Adam (El-Galandir) sent us this link to Updated Jewelry Recipes for Volume III: Book 1 and boy was he right when he told us it’s an awesome site. It’s a great way to quickly look and compare the jewelry options available including the multi-output recipes. It allows sorting to try to narrow down to just the pieces your interested in. It really is pretty stinking handy.

Crafters always appreciate it when you come to them knowing exactly what you want and can even offer some of the materials they need. The worst kind of customer is the guy who says “ I need a new ring, what can you make?” I can make all sorts of stuff but what do you need?

A new lorebook entry has appeared listing the lieutenants you will run across in the new skirmish system and what skills they have. They state it is only very useful if you are not doing solo tier one skirmishes but the tier two and three skirmishes definitely need some planning when you meet these foes.

Spoiler Alert: A fair warning to those who like to figure fights on their own that will ruin the surprise. The listing the type of skills they have as well as their effects.

It is not yet complete but it is a very useful list to keep handy for certain. You may want to bookmark this one for reference! Skirmish Lieutenants

61EYV5KY2TL._SL160_The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth by Robert Foster isn’t a story you would cuddle up on the couch and read. This is more a reference book. A sort of encyclopedia of Tolkien’s world and the reason I am recommending it is because I believe it is also a fantastic reference for Lord of the Rings Online!

It’s an indexed listing of nearly every term, person, place, thing you will find in Middle Earth. Entries are cross referenced which is great because you know how some characters are known by several names. For example Aragorn alone is known as: Aragorn, Strider, Elessar, Longshanks, Thorongil, Wingfoot, Estel, and the Dúnadan! I may have even missed a few!

I read about this site first from Middle Earth Chronicles and I have to agree this is a great site! It has everything you need to know about fishing in Middle Earth. Fishing is something I have learned as a hobby but not really devoted any time to yet. Now that I have this handy site I’ll be ready to jump right in!
