Turbine is having a stress test on the Bullroarer server on Tuesday November 17th. For us, it’s a chance to get a sneak peak of the skirmishes, mount system and legendary item updates we’re so eagerly awaiting!

Skirmish Dev Diary 5: Tricks and Treats With Zombie Columbus

SoM4 Today saw the release of Part 5 of the Skirmish Diaries which centered around something I’ve been anxious to see, which is the rewards that players can earn in skirmishes.

Personally, the diary sounds excellent.  It seems that Turbine is really reinforcing what they’ve started off to do, which is to create a way for all players to get high level gear (but not the highest level gear) outside of dungeons.  Which means there is now (hopefully) another way for players to enter raiding without having to grind dungeons as they did with Moria.  However, we won’t know this for sure until we’re looking at the actual gear.
