We have known since months, that that Isengard would be next and that the level cap would be raised. I had thought about it being raised to 70, but 75 it is. I doubt this is an improvement as a ten-level difference will make the level 65 equipment obsolete. I still use equipment with level 60, but nothing at level 55.
A raise of the virtue cap was also on the horizon and has now been confirmed. Again, I had hoped for some new virtues instead of a raise, but again, my hopes were not fulfilled.

Then I had tried my first attempts at multi-boxing the school and library for Superior Third Marks. The weeks following that update-post, I have successfully run school and library loads of times while using thee accounts (triple-boxing with Captain (main) Hunter and Minstrel).
I stopped doing those runs, when I ran out of Legendary Fragments which are needed for crafting Legendary Items. I did spend about 200 gold, almost everything I had, on the Auction Hall to buy them (at about 3 gold a piece). So before the Echoes of the Dead update, I was broke.

Our good friend Crell was the one who found this post and added it to our Facebook page which is great as I would have probably completely miss it otherwise.
Yesterday, Turbine posted an In-Game Support Naming Violation Policy Update to the Account Support Questions forum.
Here’s what the change boils down to. If your name is found in violation of their Naming Policy (part of the Code of Conduct), your name will be changed to a more suitable fantasy name by the Game Master.
The GM used to change the name to a non-fantasy name like “RenamedXYZ” and the player would have a rename token applied to allow them to change their name.

Today, Turbine’s Kate Paiz released another Producer’s Letter on the official LOTRO website. And while there isn’t a huge amount of news about what is upcoming in the future of LOTRO in regards to Isengard (probably because a large portion of it is in flux), there were some juicy tidbits to disclose about that and some of what else we will see in the near future.
- There will be a new Anniversary Festival
- There is indeed another raid in development Read the rest of this entry »

The LOTRO Store on the Bullroarer public test server has had some updates today and Sapience posted the notes on the forums for us to peruse.
Legendary Items
These items saw the majority of items added. I’m not going through all of them but some of them I can see coming in pretty handy like the option to reset your points and allow you to respec your legendary item.
Some items there already has been discussion over such as the relic removal scroll and the ability to replace legacies and upgrade tiers. I also already had heard about the ability to unlock additional LI slots.

Early yesterday there were reports of lag in LOTRO coming out on the forums. Now, most gamers will tell you that “lag happens” and outside of game servers being overloaded a lot of the time lag is on the player’s side. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case, and Celestrata of the Turbine Community Team acknowledged that it was an issue that was going on behind the scenes.

After consolidating all my blogging activities into this single site, I am now trying to reach a wider audience. This has meant finally embracing "Facebook" which up to now I have avoided. I don't find it a particular intuitive online resource but I have finally set up a presence there.
With regard to "Twitter", I am trying to migrate from my previous account to a new one that is linked to this site. If you are a follower of Xusia of Delos would you please consider following Moderate Peril, as this would be invaluable.

A new announcement popped up in my news feed today simply stating that the Journey to Winter-home (was typically called the November update) is to come soon to Codemasters servers. There was no date on this announcement; just the “soon” description.
Since the tentative date we last heard was December 7th (tomorrow) I went to see if there was any further updates on the subject.
