One of the few plugins that I miss from World of WarCraft is ArkInventory. And although due to Lua constrictions we don’t have a plugin that can match that utilities functions, Hugebag is definitely a step in the right direction.
Hugebag is an inventory replacement addon that will merge all your bags into one large bag that also adds a range of functionality:
Sorts your bags (utilizing the previously reviewed SortPack plugin)
Merges like items into one stack.
Will let you search for items by name
Has 2 modes, widget and window
Allows you to view only certain item types in your inventory (potions, cosmetics, etc.)
This week we take a look at Gambit Helper from Zanttux. This plugin is something that I have definitely been in need of for a while. Although I have covered Warden plugins before I found myself needing something a bit more extensive.
Now that I’m back on my Warden and leveling him I find that I have (surprise, surprise) forgotten most of his gambits and what they do. This plugin solves that issue by putting a list of all of your character’s available gambits and putting them in a list on the screen and organizes them by their category. So far those categories are:
A couple of months ago we sent out a post on Facebook and Twitter asking people what plugins they found to be a must, and without doubt Mouse Cursor Highlighter Advanced was one of the most popular ones that was listed. And although I had personally never used it before this, I was aware of the plugin and decided to give it a try.
In this episode we take a look at Lyrical by Astleigh. This plugin allows you to write and store poems, lyrics, speeches, or whatever text you’d like and recite them back into the last chat channel you spoke in. If you wish to change chat channels, you merely need to change your chat channel per the normal way and your text will go into it as well. It is a very intuitive interface with saving, editing and deleting being very easy to accomplish. It also is able to be used with the German and French locales; making it a universally available plugin.
Once again I bring you the further adventures of Jonthon, Man-Captain on Landroval. Today I recorded him going through the Thievery & Mischief skirmish. This one is a bit more straightforward for me, and it is easier to locate the encounter mobs. The final fight is a bit tougher than the last skirmish I showed you due to it being against an Elite, but it is doable for me.
Without much further ado, here is the 2 part recording of the skirmish:
I bring you yet another 2 videos of my Captain adventuring on Landroval. This time I am showing him running through the Trouble in Tuckborough skirmish. As you can see from the video I have a system of how I take out the enemies and flip the control points.
Out of the 2 encounters I only did one, I don’t remember where the second one spawns [I think it was the bear] and didn’t want to spend a long time looking for it. My skirmish soldier is a Herbalist, which some may say is overkill for a Captain – but I look at it like this: If I don’t run out of health I can focus on defeating the bad guys better .
Here are 2 more videos for you. A 2 part set showing a run through the Retake Weathertop [Solo] Instance for 1.2.5 – I was a bit over level for the quest so everything was pretty trivial. The Inspired Greatness buff also sort of made me overpowered when facing the 2 final bosses.
Being the sneaky Hobbit that I am I figured I would just spring this on you all without warning
This is a short video I recorded while running through the Iorvinas public dungeon in The Lone Lands on Landroval. Nothing really special going on here.
